Terms of Service

By using Gambo Golf you agree to these terms. Short version: be cool, don’t break things, and we don’t handle money.

What Gambo Golf is

A digital scorecard and stat-tracking app for casual golf games with friends. We track popular game variants — Wolf, Skins, Nassau, Match Play, Stroke Play, Dots, Snake, Bingo Bango Bongo, Sixes, and Quota — and calculate the final standings for each round.

What Gambo Golf is not

Gambo Golf is not a payment processor and never holds, processes, or transmits money. Any stakes shown in the app are numbers users track among friends. Gambo Golf does not facilitate, process, or transmit payments — any settlement happens entirely outside the app, directly between users. We take no cut and have no role in the settlement.

Your account

• You must be 18 or older to create an account.
• You agree to use Gambo Golf only for friendly games among acquaintances, in jurisdictions where doing so is legal. Don’t use the app to organize activity that is unlawful where you are.
• Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One human, one account. No bots.

Acceptable use

Gambo Golf has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Content that is abusive, harassing, hateful, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable is not permitted. By using Gambo Golf you agree to these terms and to refrain from posting such content. We may remove offending content and suspend or terminate the accounts of users who violate these terms.

• Don’t upload abusive, harassing, or illegal content. Don’t impersonate anyone.
• Don’t reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our APIs.
• Don’t use Gambo Golf to process or clear payments between players outside of what the app natively supports (it supports none).
• Report abusive users or content via the “···” menu on their profile. Block users you don’t want to see in Settings → Blocked users. We review reports and act on violations.

Content you create

You own your data (rounds, scores, display name, avatar). You grant us a license to display and process it solely to operate the service.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is.” We’re not liable for disputes that arise between users outside the app. If your group disagrees about how a round was scored, that’s between you and your friends.
